Psalm 37:4

Psalm 37:4 Delight yourself in the LORD, and he will give you the desires of your heart.

In his new book God Shines Forth, Micheal Reeves says “Without heartfelt delight in God, we are nothing but hollow hypocrites.”  Delighting yourself in God is THE most important duty you have today.  Duty?  Maybe you thought duty was the opposite of delight.  What’s more likely is that you’re too concerned with secondary duties and not concerned enough with your primary duty.  Delight yourself in the Lord today.
