1 Corinthians 4:20

1 Corinthians 4:20 For the kingdom of God does not consist in talk but in power.

You will be tempted to “flex” your power over others today with your position, office, intellect, or temperament.  While this might gain you immediate gratification and a sense of power, it will quickly fade.  This is because true power is found in your own weakness and inability (2 Cor 12:9).  So today, be leery of your own power and be confident in the power from above, revealed in Jesus.
