Ephesians 1:17

Ephesians 1:17 that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give you the Spirit of wisdom and of revelation in the knowledge of him,

In this section of Paul’s letter to the Church in Ephesus, he shares his prayer for the church.  He asks that God give them The Spirit.  It’s important to know that this is not “a spirit” but God’s very own Spirit.  This is the third person of the Trinity that Paul says is wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of God almighty.  

So let this truth blow your mind.  Today God hasn’t just given you truth about himself but He’s given you HIMSELF!  Father, Son, and Holy Spirit are yours and you are His.  You have become one with God.  Rejoice!
