Matthew 6:9

Matthew 6:9 Pray then like this: “Our Father in heaven,

hallowed be your name.”

From the moment our eyes open in the morning we have self-centered thoughts and longings.  Maybe we want to sleep in longer so we hit snooze.  Or maybe we want to have great success and be very productive so we rise early.  Either way our natural motivation in both of these is our self and this is a problem.  Being self-centered will leave us constantly disappointed because this world doesn’t revolve around us.  So make it your first priority to repent of this and pray “Our father in heaven make your name holy today.”
