John 3:17-18

John 3:17-18“For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but in order that the world might be saved through him. Whoever believes in him is not condemned, but whoever does not believe is condemned already, because he has not believed in the name of the only Son of God.”

The truth of Romans 8:1 is found first in the words of Jesus; the greatest preacher, teacher and theologian of all time. Jesus says, “In ME there is no condemnation.” Paul seconds that as emphatically as he can by saying “In HIM there is no condemnation.” Believer, you are no longer condemned. Not only because Paul said it but more so because the One in whom this salvation is found said it. You can live your life in the freedom of your salvation because of the love of God for you.
